I LOL'd when I found out this would be rolling into town today:
The Famous Idaho Potato Truck will make a stop at a Tampa restaurant today, one of only four restaurants, a school and a hospital in the nation to be part of an exclusive Idaho Potato Commission ad campaign.
The truck is 72 feet long, 12 feet wide and holds a 6 ton potato.
The potato is so huge it would take 10,000 years to grow; 2 years, 9 months to bake; and would make over 30,000 servings of mashed potatoes or 1.5 million French fries.
The truck travels the country spreading the word of Idaho potatoes and raising awareness and money for Meals on Wheels.
I think I'll go by and check it out!
