Stuffed Jumbo Shells

Tired of the same pasta meals? These stuffed jumbo shells will make you mouth water. They are sure to please any crowd.



INGREDIENTS:


1 (12-ounce) box Jumbo Shells
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 cup Onion (finely diced)
1 pound Ground Beef
1 (24-ounce) container Ricotta Cheese
1 ½ cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 teaspoons bottled Minced Garlic
1 teaspoon fresh chopped Oregano
1 teaspoon fresh chopped Basil
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
1 large Egg (beaten)
1 (24-ounce) jar Classico Pasta Sauce
3/4 cup additional Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 cup additional Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Non-Stick Cooking Spray

DIRECTIONS


Spray a 9x13 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray, set aside. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook jumbo shells according to package directions, then drain and set aside. In a small pan and over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sauté onion for 2 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, then drain and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, 1 cup parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, egg and ground beef. Stir together until completely combined. Using a teaspoon, carefully fill each shell with the cheese mixture, then place filled shells in the baking dish. Continue until all shells are filled. Drizzle pasta sauce over the shells. Sprinkle the top with the additional mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Cover with foil. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees on the 3rd rack for 50 minutes.
