Business Startup Costs

Do you know what it is like to start a small business?  Small businesses make up a large part of our economy.  They need capital, inventory, employees, etc..  I think at one point everyone wants to open their own business, but do not know where to starts.

Getting the capital you need to start up and operate can be hard.  But there are many ways a small business can get help.  The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. We recognize that small business is critical to our economic recovery and strength, to building America's future, and to helping the United States compete in today's global marketplace. Although SBA has grown and evolved in the years since it was established in 1953, the bottom line mission remains the same. The SBA helps Americans start, build and grow businesses. Through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations, SBA delivers its services to people throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin Islands and Guam.

You can also look to your local banks for help.  The best advice I can give you when doing this, is to do your homework and have your small business proposal ready to present when you initially sit down to discuss your needs from your financial institution.

You can also apply at well known, larger financial institutions, like Capital Alliance. This can be a great source of information for starting up a small business.

Capital Alliance was founded to solve a major problem that small businesses were facing: access to capital. Their mission is to provide quick, simple, and transparent solutions for businesses to obtain capital. Since it’s inception, Capital Alliance has funded over $500 million to thousands of small businesses.

No matter what your small business needs are,  there are agencies and financial institutions out there to help.
