About Treemote

In 2013, Martin and Shelby Schenk recognized the hassle of having to crawl behind or under a Christmas tree to turn the lights on and off, and thus created Treemote™ – a wireless, user-friendly remote control that can control holiday lights up to 80 feet away. Shortly after its inception, Treemote appeared on the hit show “Dragon’s Den” and became an instant hit in Canada. Today, Treemote is expanding to the U.S. and is now available online and at select retailers nationwide. Treemote can be used year round on hard to reach lights and appliances, in addition to being a great gift or stocking stuffer.

How It Works

Treemote solves the daily task of switching holiday lights on and off by using the wireless Treemote device.

Easy to Install: To begin, plug the white receiver into any wall plug, and then plug a string of lights into the receiver. Using the green tree-shaped remote (batteries are included), lights can be controlled from up to 80 feet away.

Multiple Devices: Treemote can be used to control multiple devices.

Beyond the Holiday: Treemote can be used around the house throughout the year to help control hard to reach lights and small appliances, such as table lamps, fans, radios, and more. It’s a great tool for everyone including individuals with mobility limitations or those wanting to streamline daily tasks.

Availability: Treemote is available in October online and at select retailers nationwide for a MSRP of $19.99.
