Vera Mona Color Switch Review

Building and maintaining a decent makeup brush collection can be a rather costly endeavor. It can also be a rather drawn out process of buying and buying and buying until you find brushes that you are completely happy with. I have around 15 eye shadow brushes, but I only use 3 different ones. One I use for all over and transition colors, one I use for the crease and outer V, and the third I use for blending. Since two of those brushes have to pull double color duty, I had to get a towel and spend several minutes rubbing the brushes back and forth until I got the color out of them. I found myself lamenting having brushes with excellent color pick up. My eye shadow application time was triple what it should have been.

Minecraft Story Mode Review and Giveaway

A lot of families out there have at least one member who was bitten hard by the Minecraft bug. My family has suffered greatly with the joy of Minecraft. We have been addicted from the first time we played it on Xbox 360. A few years and hundreds of hours and millions of blocks placed later, we are still just as addicted, playing on Xbox One. When we heard about Minecraft Story Mode by TellTale Games, we knew we were going to have to have it. The idea of a playable story featuring the pixelated blocks we all have grown to love, was a very exciting one. My husband and I have played a few other TellTale Games releases, and we've always quite enjoyed the game play and story lines. Most of TellTale's games aren't family-oriented, so we have never played them with the kids. Minecraft Story Mode is rated E10+, meaning it is appropriate for anyone over the age of 10.

Drinks are on me.

One of my favorite things about warmer weather, is sitting outside in the evening with a good book, or some good company, and a delicious cocktail. I'm not a fan of very many beers, or wines. I'm a liquor girl, so I need a good sippin' drink in order to keep from getting snoggered before the end of chapter 1. If I'm by myself reading, I stick to simple drinks. My go to is a whiskey sour. If I've got some company though, I like to serve something with a little more pizzaz, something that looks pretty and tastes delicious. When I turned 35 my skin suddenly decided to betray me. I started seeing these little lines around my eyes and mouth that were not there before, and the texture of my skin started changing. I suddenly had these dull, dry places that were no that all amusing. I've always had issues with my pores, and luckily that didn't get any worse, but it also didn't get and better. I don't care much for chemical laden store bought skin care items, so I've always done a natural routine of oils and apple cider vinegar. I came to realize with my new skin issues that I needed to step up my game and try something with a little more "oomph".
