How music shapes your life

I come from a very musical background.  Music is a huge part of my life.  When you watch a movie, the music helps determine the tome of the music,  The music gets faster when there are exciting parts and gets slower when there is sadder or highly emotional parts.  Two of the most iconic movies that shaped my life, did  so with the musical score.
The musical score from Jaws let you know the dreaded killer great white shark was around.  Your heart begins to race with the music.    Listen to it below and I know you will feel the same.

Did you think about the shark devouring the people when you heard the music?  I can!

Another movie that had music that made a big impact on my life was The Exorcist.  Can you tell I grew up in the 70's?  Boy, I can hear that music and my heart starts to race thinking of all the horror from The Exorcist.

I have music that I like to listen to when I want to relax.  It is usually some cool jazz or perhaps some classical music.

Music shapes or lives more than we know.  I cannot count the number of times I have sang the words to a sing,I perhaps, don't really even like.  Have you done that before?  We all have our favorite artiststs and we all have our favorite play lists.

You can save your favorite play lists from  streaming services like Spotify or Pandora.  I personally have all my favorite music saved on Spotify.  That is usually what I listen to when I take a long trip.  When I am at home I normally have something playing from YouTube or even on my TV.  Cable TV has music stations and I can tune in to my faves!

There are so many people involved in music.  Have you heard of John Ross Jesensky?  He is  prolific composer and musician, John Jesensky has earned the admiration of peers and audiences alike with his innovative and masterful approach to the art form that is film scoring. In musical composition and film scoring in particular, Jesensky has found a vehicle for artistic expression that so closely coincides with his professional endeavors. Specializing in grand piano, Jesensky’s scores have been featured in countless films and have earned recognition through a host of awards as well as inclusion in some of the most revered film festivals and events.

Next time you hear the music while you are watching a movie, check the credits to see who it is.You will be quite surprised, I am sure!

How Many Apps Do You Need?

This is a sponsored post.
How many apps do you have on your device?. I must say, I have quite a few on my phone.  Apps directly link us to our favorite online games, shopping and even doctors.  It was quite nice when I was able to use my phone to see a doctor using Amwell a few weeks ago at 2 AM.  Convenience was definitely key to using the Amwell app.  I was able to see a doctor in fifteen minutes from the comfort of my home.

I love my Words With Friends app.  I am a word person and having the app to play the game on my phone is quite handy.  I can play anywhere I go and I am not isolated to only playing on my computer.  Don't laugh.  I know you have the Candy Crush app on your phone.

Whether you use Google Play,Itunes, Amazon or Windows, there are millions of apps you can download to your phone, tablet, Ipad, or computer.  Everything from your banking app to fun and games.  I know we all have games on our phones for our kids.  I know I do.  I have the My Town: Pets app on mine.

No matter your age, there is an app you have on your device, whether it be for personal or business use.   Have you ever heard of the Ask Bongo app? Bongo is a super intelligent monkey from the shores of Borneo, who lives to dish the dirt 24/7! Get an answer to any question anytime! Bongo knows EVERYTHING about EVERYONE!
It’s super simple to use Ask Bongo

Simply send your FULL NAME & TOWN and instantly be amazed with his knowledge! It’s freaky what Bongo knows!  Let me know your thoughts if you have this app and have used. It has definitely peaked my curiosity.

Technology has  come a long way and apps are a big part of that.  I am one of those people that use an app for most anything.  I am actually writing this post using an app!  I know the use of apps has skyrocketed.  Every day I see new apps and I have tried quite a few, only to delete them r see that they are full of ads and slow down my phone.  I keep the basic apps on my deice.  It sure does make life easier when you can check you bank balance from an app on your phone.  And if you have some time on your hands you can read a book or play a game, right from your favorite app.

What are the most used apps on your phone or device?

5 Travel Hacks for You to Spend Less

  1. Use Credit Cards with Rewards
If you don't already have a travel rewards credit card then we recommend you get one.  Using a credit card that offers travel rewards will have you racking up points in no time. Depending on the card, the points can be used for savings on flights, hotel, and car rentals... and hey, you may even have enough to score a free flight! While using a credit card that offers rewards, the purchases you make can be on anything you please but some purchases receive more points than others. So, why not stack up on points to save if you'll be traveling soon anyways!
  1. Stay Out of Town
While traveling to a major city with tourists bunking up in the lavish hotels in the center of town, we advise you go elsewhere. While booking your hotel, do some research on stays outside of the major city for a cheaper nightly rate.  Keep in mind that a town outside a major city can also be a much better experience as you can hang with the locals or explore even more from the outskirts. And staying away from the crowds of tourists can be more of a relaxing experience anyways.
  1. Flight Time Matters
It's no theory that travel times make a difference in airfare. Mid-day flights tend to always be more expensive compared to a red-eye or early morning flight time. The reasoning for this is simply because most travelers don't want to fly through the night or at the crack of dawn. Try to sacrifice the hours of sleep and book a late night or early morning flight. The plus side is the airports will be empty and you'll surely save on fares!
  1. Pay Attention to Email Promotions
We know your inbox is flooded daily with store promotions and deals that you simply don't care for. But, travel promotions are different! Flight, car, and hotel deals land in subscribers inboxes every day and we're sure you probably missed a few great travel deals. Here's our suggestion: create a separate email for travel promotions only or keep your inbox organized by creating folders where these messages will land in so you never miss a deal again! While you're scrambling for that holiday flight deal to NYC or wherever you plan to go, search your inbox to discover promotions you may have missed.
  1. Don't Be an Average Tourist
Tourists traveling to major cities around the world often plan an itinerary with the same places to see and do. Restaurants and shops around popular areas will be much more expensive compared to a restaurant right outside of town. Be different–explore the local neighborhoods, experience a variety cultures, and learn something new. You're guaranteed to save on food, shopping and be exposed to something new!
