Set in the small southern town of Fireside, Texas, in 1967, two sisters, Evangeline and Juliet are abandoned by their mother at their grandparent's farm. Their grandfather, Walt(Corbin Benson and grandmother, Ruby( Melissa Gilbert) stand-in for the missing parents and create a fun, loving experience for their granddaughters. Make sure to look for this movie in late October. It is a must-see film.
Fireside is also home to the radio station KOFF, kept secrets and ice cream sundaes galore, serves as the backdrop for this heartwarming story chocked full of surprises.
