How you can give back to your community

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Savings.com

I am doing good in my neighborhood by supporting my local United Way chapter.  I donate money via payroll deduction and I also attend events in my area. We recently had a back to school drive that was a huge success.  Now, the kids in our community have all the school supplies they need to start back to school.  It's such a good feeling when you know you are helping your community and that is what United Way is all about.

Valpak has partnered with United Way to harness their shared commitment and engagement in local communities across America to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community.

Valpak, one of North America's leading direct marketing companies, and United Way Worldwide, the world's largest privately funded charity, will partner on a nationwide, multi-platform campaign, "United to Strengthen Our Local Communities."

For over 50 years, Valpak has been at the heart of local communities across North America, helping people save, businesses grow and neighborhoods thrive through a network of local franchises. Together, through this campaign, Valpak and United Way are harnessing their shared commitment and engagement in local communities across America to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community.
