Stranger Things Halloween Drinks

Everyone’s favorite holiday is almost upon us. It’s a little spooky, a lot of fun and most importantly sweet. Halloween, it’s Halloween!
No Halloween celebration is complete without a serious Halloween candy stash that the cast of Stranger Things would be proud of, and libations that can really hold their own when paired with your favorite snacks and sweets. This holiday, indulge yourself by pairing your (or others’ when they’re not looking) candy with the sweet, refreshing wines from Castello del Poggio and festive staple - Zonin Prosecco. Delicious on their own and when mixed into cocktails, please consider these offerings for your upcoming Halloween celebrations:

‘Spooky Pleasures’ & Swedish Fish
6oz. Castello del Poggio Moscato (SRP: $12.99)
2oz. Junmai Sake
.5oz. fresh blackberry puree
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until blended and pour into a large wine glass filled with ice. Garnish with plumpest Swedish Fish from the bag.
Vampire's Bubbly’ & Black Licorice
2oz Zonin Prosecco
1.5oz. Gin
1/2oz. lemon juice
1tsp. grenadine
Pour gin, lemon juice, and grenadine into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until blended and pour into a large wine glass filled with ice. Top off with prosecco. Garnish with the blackest sticks of licorice.
Eternal Brunch’ & Starburst
3oz. Castello del Poggio Rosé
1oz. Distilled Gin
1/2oz. Lychee Liqueur
1/8oz. Velvet Falernum
1/2oz. Lemon Juice
2 Dashes Peychaud's Bitters
Shake all ingredients, except rosé, into a cocktail shaker with ice. Serve in a Champagne Flute and top with rosé. Garnish with a blood orange slice on a skewer.
