Must See Movie: When We Last Spoke

If you are looking for a feel-good movie, I have a great one for you. When We Last Spoke is a great, fun-filled, wholesome family movie.  Set in the small southern town of Fireside, Texas, in 1967, two sisters, Evangeline and Juliet are abandoned by their mother at their grandparent's farm.  Their grandfather, Walt(Corbin Benson and grandmother, Ruby( Melissa Gilbert) stand-in for the missing parents and create a fun, loving experience for their granddaughters.  Make sure to look for this movie in late October.  It is a must-see film.

Fireside is also home to the radio station KOFF, kept secrets and ice cream sundaes galore, serves as the backdrop for this heartwarming story chocked full of surprises. To top it all, Walt's ailing and eccentric mother makes an unexpected appearance.  Itasca (Cloris Leachman ) makes for tons of laughter and her Emily Dickinson quotes are spot on.

This movie is packed with quirky characters and lively escapades. When We Last Spoke was filmed in Georgia!  Make sure to watch this film, this movie makes you dig deep into the things that matter most---family, friends, love, and forgiveness.
