Exciting Get-To-Know-You Games: KIC-Start and Whine Barrel

Kic-Start is a kid friendly, "get to know you" game for children.  It is suggested for  2 or more players ages 5-17.  It teaches kids the art of conversational curiosity.  The first player draws a card, reads the question and answers it honestly.  Then they ask each of the other players to answer the same question.  Once each player has answered, the player to the right draws the next card and a new round begins.  Each card features a question that is suitable for the young players.  There is nothing risque or inappropriate.  This is a fun game and is good practice for the kids on how to have a conversation.

Whine Barrel is the adult version of the "get to know you" game.  It is suggested for 2 or more players and has questions more suitable for adults.  Nothing risque, just questions geared more towards adults.  This is played the same way as Kic-Start, with the first player drawing a card and answering the question that is on it.  Then they ask each of the other players to answer the same question.  Once each player has answered, the player on the right draws the next card to begin a new round.  If you like good conversation, you will love this game.

Whine Barrel retails for $19.95 and can be purchased HERE or from Amazon HERE .  It would be perfect to give as a hostess gift or to play during family get togethers.

Perfect Easter Basket Fillers From Crayola

Your Building Blocks just grew up! Snap Circuits BRIC: Structures

A Snap Circuits BRIC: Structures kit was provided to me by ELENCO in exchange for an honest review.  This kit retails for $44.95 and can be purchased on Amazon HERE .  Recommended for ages 8-108. 

With this kit you can build structures with the building blocks and attach electronic circuitry to them in order to add moving parts or lights.  It requires three AA batteries (which are not included), but other than that it comes with everything you need to get started.  The bricks are fully compatible with other other ordinary building bricks, and your building possibilities are endless.  

The kit comes with 20 Snap Circuits snap modules, 75 bric-2-snap connecters, over 140 building bricks and an easy to read idea manual with over 20 illustrated projects that you can build.  You can follow the manual for your builds, or you can create your own design.  It really is like a grown up version of building blocks for kids!

Snap Circuits BRIC: Structures has been awarded Top Toys For Creative Kids, the 2018 National Parenting Product Award, 2018 Best Toys For Kids, 2018 Seriously STEM Award and 2019 KAPI Award.
