Let SeniorLiving.org Help You Navigate Medicare Enrollment

This post is sponsored by Sivan Social. All comments and opinions are my own.

I am the caregiver for an adult who recently had to navigate enrolling in Medicare.  The very first thing I learned is Original Medicare does not cover the costs of prescriptions.  You need a Medicare Part D plan if you want prescription coverage. And for Medicare Part B, you have to pay 20 percent of the Medicare-approved amount for all Part B services.

The entire Medicare process can be quite confusing, so it is best if you have someone with the knowledge to help you navigate the process.  If you don't enroll in the part you need during the open enrollment, there can be hefty fees associated when you do. While most who are on Medicare are on a fixed income, those fees can stretch your budget thin.

I highly suggest you seek the help of SeniorLiving.org.  Call QuoteManage using the number at the top of the SeniorLiving.org landing page. You can speak with an expert at no cost or obligation and get help choosing the right plan for your or your loved one's needs. The Senior Living website has a plethora of information to help guide you through all the ins and outs of Medicare.

QuoteManage is a national Medicare telesales brokerage firm that specializes in Medicare and helps seniors across the country find the best plan to fit their needs. They help eligible Medicare customers enroll in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Medicare prescription drug, vision, and dental plans to cover all of their evolving health needs. They also advise newly Medicare-eligible and newly retired Medicare recipients with their healthcare insurance options.

With All these years of paying into Medicare, it is important to get everything you are entitled to.  It is essential that you make an informed decision so you don't miss out on any benefits you have earned. Medicare can be very complicated and confusing, so call the folks at QuoteManage to make the process as easy as possible.

Medicare Annual Enrollment is coming up October 15-December 7, 2021.  This is when you can enroll for the first time, change plans, or drop pans.  It is imperative that you also check the plan you currently have, as things are always changing.

I urge you to share this article with your Medicare-eligible friends and loved ones, so they can make an informed decision about their healthcare.

Tips to Stay Happy and Healthy This Fall

 This is a sponsored post.

What are you doing to say happy and healthy this fall?  Days are getting shorter and you do not have as many daylight hours.  And then we transition to Daylight Savings Time, which gives us fewer daylight hours.  Here are a few tips to stay happy and healthy this fall.

Take some time to yourself.  Read a book, plan a solo trip.  Watch your favorite series.  You just need to take some time to focus on yourself.

Get ready for Daylight Savings Time.  Start going to bed earlier  I know this helps me get used to the periods of darkness and light that change when we "fall back" an hour.

Go ahead and get that yearly checkup and discuss with your doctor if you need a flu shot or if he/she is recommending you take any vitamins or supplements. I like the vitamins that Superior Source Vitamins offer. Taking Superior Source Vitamins is easy because there are no PILLS to swallow! With over 120 vitamins, there are vitamins for everyone, young old, and every need. Best of all, Superior Source Vitamins are MicroLingual® with“Under the TongueTechnology”.  These vitamins are tiny and easy to swallow.

Watch Young Sheldon Five Nights a Week

This post is sponsored by Warner Bros. All comments and opinions are my own.

Time to get comfortable and watch some TV in our home! We put on our comfy clothes and relax. Zach always has dibs on the remote control and is sitting in his favorite recliner. I tell him to help us get on channel NBC 26 at 6:30 pm and we are set to watch Young Sheldon.

We love watching Young Sheldon because it is family-friendly and now it's on five nights a week. We love the family dynamic between the twins, Sheldon and Missy. I think Zach loves it because he can relate to Sheldon. Zach is a super smart kid, too. I definitely can relate to Mary, Sheldon's mom, in always trying to protect my differently-abled son in a small southern football town.

I am not sure how I would relate if my nine-year-old brother was in high school with me. Seeing the relationship play out between Sheldon's older brother and football jock, Georgie can't help but make you laugh!

It is so much fun to watch Memaw (Sheldon's grandma), too. The entire family is tremendously funny and definitely a family we relate to.

Did I mention that Young Sheldon is now on five times a week? Our local TV station, NBC 26, has been playing it from the beginning and you can catch up too. You can find your local channel by checking YoungSheldon.com or clicking here. I am extremely excited to be able to watch every weeknight, and I know Zach is, too.

You should definitely enter Valpak's Young Sheldon sweepstakes. You could win $10,000 and other prizes. Enter the sweepstakes here.
